When the sentence will not stop running.
Real-time support over WhatsApp, in the moment.
Currently in its research phase and not open to the public.
Spots open in stages. The waitlist goes first.
Join the waitlistText WAITLIST to 022 654 5515. You get a link to a short consent form back, then a text confirming your place.
ante is running as a research instrument, not a product on sale. Places are opened in small groups so that consent, safety, and data handling are done properly rather than quickly. The waitlist is how you get the first ones.
Save it as Aunty while you are here. When your place opens, it is already in your phone. Joining the waitlist does not start a session and does not commit you to anything further. You can ask to be removed at any time and your number is deleted from the list.
How it begins. Two questions, then a reply written to your answer. Two to five minutes, one word at a time.
You
Aunty
You
Aunty
Illustration of a typical exchange, reconstructed. Not a real participant's messages.
ante does not need paragraphs. It needs accuracy. A single word for your body sensation is precise enough for the system to respond to.
When ante asks how the sentences land, you reply with whatever is true in your body right now. Not what you want to feel. What is actually there.
These are examples. Whatever is true for you is the right word.
You can also reply with a number when ante gives you options, or simply X to stop at any point. No explanation needed.
"Language does not only describe what you feel. It takes part in generating it, in the body, in real time. ante is built to meet the sentence before the feeling settles."
Most support arrives after the state has consolidated. After the behaviour. After the day is already decided. ante works earlier, in the interval between the sentence firing and the state settling.
That interval is the whole idea. The sentence is not the story. The story comes after. ante works on the sentence, and the research phase is where that idea gets tested properly.
Every ante interaction follows the same flow. The exchange takes between two and five minutes and happens in the moment, not retrospectively. This is what opens up when your place on the waitlist comes round.
A message, a moment, a memory. The body shifts before the mind catches it. You open WhatsApp and text Aunty what just happened. Factual, simple. No need to explain or justify. One sentence is enough.
What is the sentence running in your head right now? And where exactly do you feel it in your body? Both matter. The body location is not optional. It is part of what ante uses to calibrate what it sends back.
Before anything else, ante sends back what it understands to be happening, in plain language. You reply with a number: yes, sort of, or no. If it does not fit, ante adjusts and tries again. Nothing continues until you say it has landed.
Something to do with your body, where you said you feel it. Then sentences written to your actual situation, in your own terms rather than a general version of them. You only need one of them to land.
ante checks whether anything moved. A single word is all it needs. If nothing has moved, the exchange continues, stopping the moment something does. At most six sentences, one at a time.
Most support arrives after the feeling has settled. An appointment next Tuesday. A meditation written for everyone. A chatbot that agrees with whatever you type.
ante works on the structure of the sentence itself, meets it where you say you feel it, and asks whether anything actually moved. If nothing does, it continues.
Agreement is not the product.
Shift is.
ante responds to what is actually running. The more accurate your language, the more precisely it can meet it. These are not rules. They are what separates a response that fits from one that misses. Worth reading before your place comes round.
Say what actually happened
Factual and specific. Not the backstory, not the analysis. What just occurred. One sentence is enough.
Name the exact sentence
The actual words running in your head. Not a cleaned-up version. Not what you wish was running. Tidied sentences produce tidied responses.
Name the body location precisely
Not "my body" or "everywhere". Where specifically. Throat. Chest. Stomach. Jaw. Shoulders. The more precise the location, the more precisely ante can meet it.
Use it in the moment
ante is built for the moment something is running, not for reflection hours later once the body has already settled.
Read the sentences slowly
Not to understand them. To feel them. Notice your body while you read. One shift, even a slight one, is the whole point. That is the sentence you can return to.
Be honest about what lands
If what ante sends back does not fit, say so. If the sentences do not move anything, say so. ante will continue. Saying no is not a failure. It is the system working as designed.
You would be texting the hardest sentence in your head to a number on your phone. You deserve to know exactly where it goes, before you join anything.
Two things worth saying plainly, because they are true and most services leave them out. Your phone number is held separately, so ante knows it is you when you text; it is kept apart from the research record and deleted when you leave. And your messages are processed by an AI service to produce the response, under that provider's terms, which is how a reply arrives in under a minute.
The pattern data is what the research runs on. Your sentences stay yours. Only share what you are comfortable putting in writing.
ante runs on the IMIE framework, documented in Scripted: How Language Writes Your Identity and How to Rewrite It (Lighter Side Media, 2026), and now heading into formal testing.
Structure, not story
ante responds to the structure of the sentence rather than its subject matter. Two sentences about completely different events can be doing the same thing underneath.
Independent eyes
Study design and methodology overseen by a senior research scientist. Data analysis advised by a post-doctoral heart rate variability researcher. Clinical advisory from a registered clinical psychologist.
The body as witness
What you report in your body, in the moment, session by session. Comparison against heart rate variability data via chest-strap ECG is in development. The body is the witness, not a dashboard.
Built to be examined
ante will not be sold to the public until a pre-registered trial, run under ethics approval and analysed with independent researchers, has tested it, whatever the results say. Predictions are locked before any data is collected, and findings are reported either way.
There are no results yet, and none will be published ahead of the trial. What is offered instead is a process built so they cannot be arranged after the fact.
Read the plain-language termsante works in the interval before a state settles. That scope is bounded and it matters.
ante is not therapy and it is not a crisis service. It is not built to hold states beyond the scope of what it does. When language signals immediate risk, it says so clearly and points to appropriate support. That is not a limitation. It is a design principle.
If you are in crisis, please contact a trusted person, a crisis line, or emergency services directly. In New Zealand you can call or text 1737 free, any time, to speak with a trained counsellor.
ante works in the moment, and it is not open yet. Some sentences come back anyway, season after season, wearing different events like different coats. These two are open now, and they are worked on by hand.
